During COVID-19 Pandemic situation we have initiated different activities in the project area as per COVID guideline as follows -Mask distribution among 1000 People , facilitation of Cooking foods at G.P level through SHG Groups, Facilitation of MDM ration, Stipend among TRW schools, facilitation of THR in AWCs , distribution of dry rations ,health kits among 500 beneficiaries , COVID-19 Awareness building activities among the people on health & sanitation ..handwash practice, social distance maintaining , mask use etc , Walling in community places -9nos on COVID-19 Protection measurer , running of Community based children’s learning center 20nos in the inaccessible pockets ,and distribution of School kits , bag, books, pen and others among the children’s .
A sensitization Programme was organized among the rural Youth and members of village level Institutional Bodies, SHG Members of SMC, Janch Committee, Matru Committee with support of NYK Keonjhar, in Junga Grampanchayat of Harichandanpur block where 37 boys and girls were participated and shared their views /actions against the pandemic and health kits were distributed among them, it was also followed by different action-based activities
During the intervention process our project staffs has participated / facilitated in 147 .no. of VHNDs 243 no. of immunization camps and 25 no. of sector meetings and has shared our views and resolved the issues
Facilitation on Institution Building which is the ongoing activity of the Organisation, during this year with COVID-19 pandemic situation as per COVID-19 guide line , we have completed no. of meetings at community level of the members 18 SHG Meetings ,5.no of Village level Child Protection Committee Members, 57 of Matru Committee Members 43no. of Guardian Meetings 10 no. Village Committee Meetings in five number of Gram Panchayats of Harichandanpur block of Keonjhar
During the COVID-19 pandemic when schools remained closed for indefinite period, with the support of ILP Bangalore we have opened 20 no. of community-based learning centers in the villages where staffs are staying where 193 no. of children are continuing their education reading, Writing, Numeracy. Guardians and PRI members are visiting to time and giving their moral support to the personnel’s and helping to solve raised issues. This step was highly appreciated by the people and the administration and at media level .
With the support of Ministry of Labour Govt. of India through district Administration a School is running for the child labouers at Dalki of Hadagarah Gram Panchayat under NCLP Project where 25no. of Children’s are getting schooling with vocational education since 2019 on words.
During this year from October on wards we have started our Career Guidance classes among the students from 9th to 12th at village level and 9 no. of camps has completed where 237 students has benefited and got clear cut idea on their future study and selecting their profession/job . This program was highly beneficial for them. Ten number of scholarships Rs.3000/- each also distributed among the students.
We have participated different meetings /workshop’s /Seminars through Virtual meet on different issues child rights, Right to education, COVID-19 emerging situation issues organized by different Agencies and NGO-Networks.
